Antalyaspor and Şanlıurfaspor's head coaches, Mr. Emre Belözoğlu and Mr. Mesut Bakkal, who are continuing their new season preparations at our University's modern sports facilities, met with our Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar.

Both head coaches described the MAKÜ Lavanta Tepesi Sports Camp Center as one of Turkey's best camp facilities and shared their suggestions for improving service quality. These evaluations were a great source of satisfaction for our university.

Confident steps towards international recognition

Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, in his assessment of the meeting, stated, “We continuously improve our service quality based on the feedback from the teams we host. Our goal is to make MAKÜ an internationally recognized and preferred athlete training and camp center.”

Sports events throughout the year

MAKÜ's sports infrastructure hosts not only university sports and various indoor events during the winter but also serves as a camp center for leading football clubs from our country and the world during the summer season.

New season goal: Multi-team camp tournaments

From the upcoming season, it is aimed to establish an advanced structure where multiple teams can camp simultaneously and camp tournaments can be organized. In this direction, efforts are being persistently carried out for Burdur to become one of the leading centers of sports tourism.
