Located in Burdur and fully accredited by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) for five years, MAKÜ is a specialized university in the field of agriculture and livestock. Research and development activities in this field are supported with special budgets, and the university has shown a remarkable rise in international rankings in recent years. The language of instruction at the university is Turkish, but some programs also offer education in English.
