MAKÜ hosted the 2025 Yıldızlar Ligi – Erasmus+ Merkezi Projeler Meeting

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) hosted the “2025 Stars League – Erasmus+ Centralized Projects Meeting” organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs – Turkish National Agency. The meeting held at Lavanta Tepesi Hotel brought together a wide range of participants from academia to public institutions, from non-governmental organizations to the business world.

 

The meeting was attended by MAKÜ Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy and Prof. Dr. Hakan Öner, as well as the Head of Communication Department of the Turkish National Agency Dr. Ranâ Kasapoğlu Önder, along with many academicians, ministry representatives, and sector stakeholders.

 

The program started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, followed by an opening speech made by Dr. Ranâ Kasapoğlu Önder on behalf of the President of the Turkish National Agency İlker Astarcı. In her speech, Dr. Kasapoğlu Önder emphasized that the Erasmus+ program has evolved from being known solely for mobility activities to becoming a comprehensive program that establishes strong research and development-focused collaborations between universities, public institutions, and the private sector, highlighting the strategic importance of centralized projects.

 

After the opening, the information sessions commenced.


In this context:

  • Presentations titled “General Information on Erasmus+ Centralized Projects” and “Teacher Academies” were made by Dr. Ranâ Kasapoğlu Önder,
  • “Jean Monnet Activities” by Turkish National Agency expert Dr. Handan Boyar,
  • and “Alliances for Innovation (AfI)” by Turkish National Agency expert Ünal Görkem Akman.

Additionally, Eskişehir Technical University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Alper Çabuk shared his project experiences within the scope of AfI, providing detailed information on the “Alliances for Innovation: Experience Sharing” and “EPD-Net” project.

 

Throughout the day, policy priorities, technical details, and successful example applications regarding centralized project calls were discussed. The meeting concluded after the general evaluation session.
