Evaluation from Rector Dalgar

At the end of the first day, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, who made an evaluation, stated that they hosted an important meeting by coming together with economy journalists working in national channels and newspapers. In his evaluation, Rector Dalgar said;

“In the 20th year of our university, we hosted an important meeting to make the contribution of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University to regional development more visible, to more effectively explain our specialization model in agriculture and animal husbandry on a national scale, and to further advance the brand value of our university.

As a university specialized in agriculture and animal husbandry within the scope of YÖK's Regional Development Oriented Mission Differentiation Program, we came together with economy journalists working in national channels and newspapers.

In this meeting; we shared the contributions of our university to the socio-economic development of the region, the strong link it establishes between knowledge and production, our projects that touch the field, and the concrete impact presented.

I believe that universities are truly strong institutions to the extent of the value they add to the city and region they are located in. As MAKÜ, we are moving forward with an understanding of a university that produces science, develops solutions, applies, and transforms. With every step we take, we aim to transform our academic accumulation into social benefit and regional potential into strategic power.

Today, MAKÜ is a university that continues its academic development with determination, explains itself more accurately, strengthens its institutional identity, and progresses with solid steps on the path to branding.

Our goal is to be a more visible, more preferred, high-quality university that attracts high-quality students, produces, develops, and adds value to Turkey.

On this occasion, I also thank the press representatives who participated in our meeting and showed interest in the work of our university.” he used the expressions.
