As part of the first agenda item, newly opened and transformed programs were evaluated, and an exchange of views was conducted on the sustainable development of these programs in line with regional development goals, changing needs of the sector, and employment expectations. Emphasis was placed on increasing the attractiveness of programs, strengthening collaboration with the sector, supporting an employment-oriented educational approach, and contributing to the training of qualified human resources.

One of the important topics of the meeting, the MEDEK accreditation process and the use of the Turkey Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) Logo were also evaluated in detail. Additionally, during the meeting, the education-teaching, quality assurance, accreditation, applied education, sector collaborations, social and academic activities, and institutional development efforts carried out in vocational schools throughout the 2025-2026 Academic Year were evaluated comprehensively. While sharing the outputs of the work carried out by the units, good practice examples were discussed, and suggestions for areas open to development were evaluated.

In the final section, the planned activities to be implemented within the scope of the 2026-2027 Academic Year were discussed. Goals were addressed regarding the continuous improvement of education quality, planning new programs, spreading applied education models, strengthening quality assurance and accreditation efforts, supporting digital transformation practices, and increasing sector-university collaborations, and the roadmap for the new academic year was evaluated.
