The sector meeting and career day events continue at MAKÜ

At the second "Sector Meeting and Career Day" organized under the leadership of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) TÜME Student Community, Veterinary Faculty students had the opportunity to meet with representatives of the animal health sector and gain comprehensive information on private sector dynamics, career planning, and professional development.

 

The second "Sector Meeting and Career Day" event organized under the leadership of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) TÜME (Agricultural Technologies Clustering) Student Community was held at the MAKÜ Veterinary Faculty Conference Hall.

 

In the program, which saw intense participation from Veterinary Faculty students, sector representatives and students came together to make important evaluations on sharing professional experiences and career planning.

Veterinarian Birkan Pirçi, Veterinarian İsmail Öztaş, and Sales Representative Sefa Çam participated as speakers in the event.

 

The guests shared comprehensive information with students about private sector dynamics in the animal health sector, regional field management, developments in the field of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and the competencies sought in the sector. They also shared their experiences on career planning after graduation, the importance of field experience, professional development, and the processes of advancement in the sector.

 

In the question-and-answer section of the program, students had the opportunity to ask questions they were curious about regarding working conditions in the private sector, the process of regional management, career steps, and employment opportunities in the sector.

The event organized by the TÜME Student Community was an important meeting in terms of strengthening university-sector cooperation and developing students' career vision.

 

MAKÜ will continue to bring its students together with sector representatives and organize practice-oriented career events.
