Welcome to Your Faculty meeting for new students at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences

At Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, an event called “Welcome to Your Faculty” was organized to support the adaptation process of new students starting university life.

In the event, which has become traditional in recent years, first-year students who have recently joined the faculty came together with students studying in higher classes. In addition to the faculty's academic and administrative staff, guests from different faculties of the university also attended the event.

The event aimed to help students socialize with each other and adapt more easily to faculty life, where students also had the opportunity to spend enjoyable time with faculty members and administrative staff accompanied by music.

As part of the event, the Group İmza, consisting of students from the MAKÜ State Conservatory of Turkish Music and the Department of Music Education of the Faculty of Education, performed on stage. The group, which added color to the event with the pieces they performed, received intense interest from the students.

At the end of the program, certificates of appreciation were presented to the members of Group İmza by the Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Melek Zubaroğlu Yanardağ, who was responsible for the event.

The faculty administration stated that the event contributed to students adapting more strongly to the university environment not only in their academic lives but also socially and culturally.
